My wife and I stayed at Les Suites for four nights, Aug 23rd through the 26th. This was about the sixth time we chose this hotel, and intend to use it again. The rooms are all suites because the hotel was originally designed as apartments, so they have everything from a full kitchen with appliances to a washer and drier. The combination living/dining room has enough space in it that we can store our bikes right in the room with us and have room to spare. The staff keep the place clean and looking great The staff at the desk, in the lobby, and the folks who make up the rooms have always been really helpful and friendly, but the real reason we love this place is its LOCATION! You're within easy walking distance to the By-Ward market with its collection of shops and restaurants, as well as its varied street entertainment. It's also a great location for access to the Ottawa bike route system, starting at the Rideau Canal and going throughout the city. You're also within easy walking distance of Parlaiment and the downtown museuems. The enclosed parking garage is well worth the parking fee, and keycard access is easy going into or coming out of it. For us, we ususally find that we don't need our car when we use Les Sutites as our base of operations, but it's nice to know the car is off the street and enclosed. It is about the only hotel we've ever enjoyed going back to time after time.

LOVED this hotel! Staff was incredible and you could have put my entire apt. in there twice and still had room left over. Staff was truly amazing both before and after I arrived. The pool overlooking city was lovely and very CLEAN. Wonderful experience!

The hotel is located close to everything. Yet there is a group of individuals who hang out near the hotel making a person alone feel unsafe. The staff members were very pleasant and courteous. However, there is no area to allow your pet to walk in. The carpets throughout need replacement. There are no bell persons.There is only a small coffee shop on the premises.
